If you are a designer and need a web programmer to code your HTML we can help.
Here's
the process that we go through when working with designers take their
amazing designs and turn them into working websites.
- Planning: The sooner that we can get involved in the process the better.
That way we can help the designer manage the client's expectations and
help guide the designer. There are certain things that you can and
can't do on the web that are a snap in print design. We work closely with the designer to help them put together designs that are "web compatible".
Before showing designs to the end-client, we ask that the designer
share them with us so we can make sure that what they've put together
is do-able.
- Graphics Production and Optimization: Once the design is approved we'll take the Photoshop file and cut-out and optimize the graphics for the fastest possible download and the best possible quality.
Because we also do some design work, we are keenly aware of the
importance of maintaining the integrity of the initial design and we
pay close attention to the little details.
- HTML Coding: Once we have all of the graphics ready to go, we'll code the HTML templates.
Most sites are put together with a home page design and a design that
is used on most of the sub pages. We'll start out by putting together
a set of templates that can be used for the pages that need to be
created now, as well as any new pages that need to be added in the
future. We make sure the the final HTML pages are as close to the original Photoshop files as possible.
- Input of Content into Static HTML Pages:
Once the HTML templates are created we can help by taking the content
and inputting them into the web pages. If you require a Web-Based
Content Management System, we can take care of that too (see more on
that below).
- Hosting/E-mail: Then we take care of getting the site launched. We can either work with an existing hosting provider to get the domain set up and the static HTML pages up and running, or we can provide a Complete Content Management, E-mail and Hosting service.
